Coyote Electronics has released ForteDXi v1.1, a General MIDI (GM2) sample player/sound module with GIGA import.
Features:
- Ships with a full General MIDI (GM2)-compatible sound bank of high-quality sampled instruments, everything from a Steinway grand piano, to a Stratocaster electric guitar, to brass and wind instruments.
- Up to 100 voices of polyphony (CPU dependant).
- Plays "gig" (giga format) files.
- High-quality reverb with settings for room size, reverb amount and reverb damping.
- High-quality compressor (based on Coyote's DirectX Compressor plugin).
- Limiter for higher effective volume with minimal clipping.
ForteDXi costs $40 and a demo version is available.
