To coincide with the release of Avid ProTools HDX, Cytomic recently announced support for the AAX plug-in format, and in particular hardware acceleration on the new floating point capable DSP chips with ultra low latencies.
The AAX plug-in format versions of all Cytomic products will be available early 2012 as a separate purchase at the same price as existing products (currently $99), and will include both the Native AAX and DSP AAX plug-ins for both Mac OS and Windows. Existing product lines will continue to support AU/VST/RTAS on both Mac OS and Windows.
