Eiosis has announced the release of AirEQ 5.1 for Mac OS X in AU, RTAS and AudioSuite formats.

AirEQ 5.1 features the same high quality processing as AirEQ, but also supports 5.1 mixing with channel display and linking options.

AirEQ 5.1 features:

• Multichannel 5.1 plugin: allows equalizing 5.1 busses. Dedicated LR, LsRs, Center and LFE channels are directly accessible in a mouse click.
• 5.1 Options: you can link the different channels, configure the 5.1 busses, and use the numerous display options of AirEQ.
• Musical Adjustment: The AirEQ sound is made not only by its accurate analog matched curves: when you adjust the AirEQ parameters, the variation follows your hearing sensation. The result is more natural, and you obtain the right sound and equalization setting quicker.

Pricing & Availability

AirEQ 5.1 Native costs €200 (the TDM version costs €400). It is available for Mac OS X in AU, RTAS and AudioSuite formats.

The standard version of AirEQ has been reduced in price to €180 (it was €200).
