Front Porch Band releases "Front Porch Banjo 2" and "Front Porch Tuba" for Kontakt

Nine years after releasing the original Front Porch Banjo, Front Porch Band has released Front Porch Banjo 2 for the full version of Kontakt 5+. It has also released an updated version of Front Porch Tuba, also for the full version of Kontakt 5+.

Front Porch Banjo 2 has been expanded with 4x Round Robins, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, mute, vibrato, and a new chord system with 16 different types of chords. Almost every aspect is editable from the size of the vibrato to the speed of the chord strums.

The following two videos demonstrate FPB2's various articulations in a standard bluegrass setting as well as a classical setting:

Front Porch Tuba has also taken advantage of Kontakt 5's capabilities, including velocity morphs, becoming even easier to use. FPT makes use of up to 4x Round Robin and its articulations include staccato, long accented, long unaccented, sforzando-piano, and fluttertongue.

Both instruments stay true to the Front Porch Band vision, possessing a "real world" edge that fits especially well with Bluegrass and other country music, whether in a mix or solo.

Pricing

Front Porch Banjo 2 is listed at $74.99. Front Porch Tuba is priced $49.99, or the two instrument bundle is available for $109.99.
