FXpansion has announced that Geist, the next-generation sampling drum machine, is now officially available as a 64-bit plugin instrument for Mac OS X and Windows. When running a 64-bit host on a 64-bit operating system, Geist now appears as a native plug-in so it is no longer necessary to use bit-bridges in such systems.
The 64-bit version can be installed by running the v1.0.3.7 Geist update, available to all registered users in their download area.
As well as 64-bit versions, the download also includes 32-bit versions for Mac OS X and Windows. v1.0.3.7 also introduces a number of bug-fixes and feature enhancements.
