Iceberg-softwares has updated GrainPlot to version 1.1 RC2. This update adds a bitmap caching system to the instrument version, which drastically reduces its loading duration.

New additions:

• Factory content.
• The index of the sample used in a preset can be automated.
• A menu to select the automation lane.

Changes:

• Plug-in loading time drastically reduced.
• Better sample map editor.
• The segment of type 'random' have a persistent seed.

Bug fixes:

• Three fixes related to the clipboard operations (segment color, segment shape).
• The presets names could not contain spaces.
• Grains size was not compatible with a sample-rate change from the VST host side.
• The menu item 'Cancel MIDI learn' was not implemented.
