IK Multimedia has announced a SampleTank Orchestral Sound Packs Special Promotion by offering SampleTank for iOS users a 60% discount on select sound packs through in-app purchase.

From June 28th to July 9th, 2012, the Brass, Woodwinds, Strings and Percussion sound packs are available for $1.99/ €1,59 each (normally $4.99/ €3,99 each).

The Orchestral Sound Packs Special includes these select expansion sound packs:

• Brass - 15 sounds: The Brass sound pack includes solo brass instruments along with small and large ensembles with some different articulations.
• Woodwinds - 12 sounds: The Woodwinds sound pack contains solo wind instruments including flutes, piccolo, clarinet, English horn, oboe, bassoon, alto and tenor sax.
