Intelligent Sounds & Music has announced the release of EQISM.220, a parametric equaliser plug-in with five adjacent bands separated by filters of 2nd to 20th order. Its focus is ease and fun of use.
The second order filter section is sufficient for most mixing tasks. And it is free. There is no demo noise in the unregistered version as long as you use 2nd order filters.
The filters of higher order make EQISM.220 a sound wizard for skilled users, according to IS&M. They have the power to cut deep into your sounds and attenuate or amplify even smallest frequency bands as exact as you like.
EQISM.220 is a subset of MuSiCX and can be upgraded to it.
Pricing & Availability
EQISM.220 is available for Windows as a VST effect plug-in. The full version costs €28 and, as mentioned above, the demo is actually a free version as long as you use the 2nd order filters only.
