John Shield has released the WDM ASIO Link Driver v1.1, now with multichannel support.
Utilizing a virtual WDM sound card, this driver allows the user to listen or record Windows audio from an ASIO driver. The user can make the Windows audio appear as an input into the host application, or monitor windows audio as an ASIO output bypassing the host application.
It's also possible using the Link driver, to grab a total ASIO output and feed it back into the ASIOVAD stereo mix making it recordable by live Windows streaming applications (i.e. live broadcast, voice chat programs).
- Features full 8-channel sound in Windows audio mappable to ASIO channels of your choice.
- Windows audio can be mapped to ASIO inputs to the host application.
- Windows audio can also be monitored on the ASIO output channels bypassing the DAW.
