KV331 Audio has updated their software synthesizer plugins SynthMaster and SynthMaster Player to version 2.7.6.
This latest update brings the following new features:
- SynthMaster now reads scala tuning files from <user documents>\SynthMaster\Scales folder as well.
- SynthMaster now reads root note information from scala tuning files. The root note is specified at the beginning of the file on a comment line: !rootnote=C4.
- On Windows, SynthMaster now has a single installer for 32/64-bit architectures. Users can specify the installation folders for SynthMaster data files, 32-bit VST dll file and 64-bit dll file separately. The installer also creates SynthMasterFolders.txt file automatically so users don't have to edit it manually.
- SynthMaster now has weekly version checking: If user opts in, the software will do online version checking once a week.
There are also important fixes in this update:
- When user saves a file, file extension is now automatically added to the file name if missing.
- WAV files containing invalid cue chunks are now read correctly by SynthMaster.
- Favorite presets with longer that 31 characters might cause SynthMaster to crash.
