Good News for plug-in lovers! The final date for submissions for the KVR Developer Challenge 2007, the second free-for-all audio plug-in / audio application design event, has arrived and all 41 entries can be downloaded, for free, by everyone, NOW!
As expected, we had a strong Windows turnout again with 40 of the 41 entries available for Windows (37 VST plug-ins; 3 stand-alone applications; 2 both). Sadly the number of entries for Mac OS X was very low with just 3 submitted (1 VST & AU, 1 VST and 1 AU) - one is a Mac exclusive though! Linux users have just a single entry to try out... Special mention should go to hypercyclic by mucoder which is available for Windows, Mac OS X Universal Binary AND Linux in VST, AU and stand-alone formats!
Voting will commence from 17th September. In the meantime, why not download the new toys and start thinking about what to vote once voting opens next week.
The prize fund is currently more than $1400! Those of you who have donated already, thanks! For anyone wishing to make a donation towards the prize fund PayPal donations will continue to be accepted until voting closes (late October).
NOTE: The entries should be added to the KVR database over the next few days.
