LinPlug has released updates for Albino (v3.1), CronoX (v3.6), Octopus (v1.3), Alpha (v3.1.1) and Organ (v3.1.1). All of the updated products now work well on Mac OS X 10.6 and higher and Windows 7 (both 64- and 32-bit versions).

Albino v3.1:

• Improved Mac OS X 10.6 compatibility.

• Fixed crash in REAPER when playback is started with GUI closed.

• Fixed Loop point editing when switching from numerical to graphical.

Octopus v1.3 (this update is not yet available for Mac):

• 64-bit PC version available.
• Compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and OS X 10.4 up to OS X 10.6.
• Added more useful default values in fx section.
• Added more useful sync values in delay section.
• 24-voice polyphony.
• Less memory usage.
• Less CPU usage.
• Improved preset menu structure.

Alpha v3.1.1 (mainly a Mac update):

• Fixed audio problem on PowerPC Macs.
• Fixed rare sound spikes on certain presets.
• Corrected GUI setup (settings default preset on Mac).

Organ v3.1.1:

• Fixed rare sound spikes on certain presets.

Sophistry and CronoX merged into CronoX v3.6
Up until now, Sophistry was sold as an individual instrument alongside CronoX. However, with version 3.6 LinPlug decided to merge both instruments into one. So, if you own CronoX, you only have to update to version 3.6. If you own Sophistry you may now load your sounds into CronoX 3.6. If you have a license for Sophistry, but not CronoX, contact LinPlug for a CronoX serial number.
