MakeMusic has updated Finale 2012 to 2012b, a free, downloadable update for Mac OS X and Windows. Broader in scope than past free updates, 2012b adds to all the features found in previous versions of Finale 2012 with:
- Automatic Range Checking.
- Automatic Octave Adjustments when copying between staves.
- The ability to export EPUB compatible files (viewable on most tablet devices).
- New Finale Lyrics font makes lyrics more legible (even on tablet devices).
- Dozens of improvements that target long-standing customer requests.
The Finale 2012b Read Me file includes more detail for both Mac and Windows users.
