MathAudio has updated its Auto EQ VST plug-in to version 2.1.
This new version allows you to draw the desired frequency response of your speakers, headphones and earphones with the mouse. It implements the principle "What You See is What You Want to Get". Unlike conventional equalizers, Auto EQ allows one to draw the resultant frequency response of the audio system instead of the frequency response of the equalizer. The new feature can be used to fine-tune the timbre of the sound. For example, it is possible to modify the built-in reference frequency responses of ideal speakers, headphones and earphones to get the desired sound from the real speakers, headphones and earphones.
The new version of Auto EQ VST is also available in 64-bit format.
