Merging Technologies has released updates for Pyramix (v6.1.8 MR2), Ovation (v1.0.7 MR2) and VCube (v2.1 MR2).

Pyramix v6.1.8 MR2

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed. Delete track may result in a crash in some random circumstances.
• Fixed. Autopunch Record status (remote and transport window) incoherence.
• Fixed. Record: Auto-Punch internal machine does not record if track is un-arm (dubbing mode).
• Fixed. OMF import has duplicated medias in some tracks.
• Fixed. Automation: Copy/Paste from Stereo Strip to Bus not working, automation does not follow.
• Fixed: Cinegy EDL support: If an EDL was generated by a Cinegy system, Pyramix will now relink to the Medias in EDL import, so they will no longer appear offline in the timeline.
• Fixed. Media files Drag & Drop support from Explorer/iTunes to the Pyramix timeline.
• Fixed. Mixer Crash in rebuild when adding some VST plug-ins. The Waves plug-ins and Altiverb were known to cause random crashes when rebuilding the Pyramix Mixer, this issue is now resolved.
• Fixed. Sony Track arming status is not correctly reflected in the Transport window.
• Fixed. Increase the default OASIS connection timeout to 8 seconds (improves connection to controllers with large projects).
• Fixed. Optimization of Tab windows refresh when performing undo/redo, show/hide in Tabs.
• Fixed. Crash when stopping a record from a controller or by chasing a TC (with display waveform while recording).
• Fixed. Workspace: Switching between workspace in playback should no longer cause drop.
• Fixed. Reverse TimeCode chase (LTC and Sony) does not lock anymore.
• Fixed. Waveforms Display While recording will cause Pyramix hang on certain configurations due to Graphic taking all resources.
• Fixed. Timeline: Offline clips are missing Media File Name and Clip Location.
• Fixed. Record: If in enable dubbing mode the recorded clip might shift to upper tracks.
• Fixed. Markers: create slowdown in large project, if many markers are present.

Ovation v1.0.7 MR 2

New features / Improvements:

• Added View > View I/O Status menu (VS3 IO Status) in Ovation and OVPlayer.
• Added a Cue > Link Cue Offsets and StartTimes menu in Cue menu and Active Cue window to link all Audio, Video, TCGen, MMC and P2 Offsets and StartTime when editing any of them. Same concept than Auto-Ripple in Pyramix, this setting is not saved, such mode is to ensue that when enabled all editing preserves its sync between Audio, Video, TCGen, MMC and Sony P2 Offsets and StartTimes. When this mode is enabled then all these related fields are displayed in Red in the Cue Properties Pane for obviousness.
• Added a View > View TimeCode Reader menu. This option opens up to 20 TimeCode Reader Panes displaying either LTC or MTC inputs or LTC or MTC Generated timecodes. Mouse + Right Click on any of these panes allows the user to chose the TimeCode source, Generator and display color.
• Ability to enter negative values in the Cue properties for the Audio Offset and Video Offset. In order to allow a silence or pause before a cue starts.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed. LTC, MTC, and Sony start time frame entry is not take into account.
