ModeAudio has released Hover - Drones & Textures, a new library of 100 of soundscape and atmosphere samples. The pack includes single drone, texture and sound effect samples as well as a collection of sounds designed specifically to work together, forming multi-layered sonic atmospheres.
Diverse source material has been utilized in creating these sounds, from classic analogue synths, noise generators and electric guitars to outdoor field recordings and intricately recorded household percussion. Each sound has then been processed, edited and mastered using various tools and methods, from time-stretching and granulation to phase vocoding, spectral delaying and beyond.
