OverTone DSP has announced that the OverTone PTC-2A Pultec EQ plug-in half-price offer has been extended through November 2012. The plug-in has also been updated for Windows (1.0.2) and Mac OS X (1.0.4), adding some feature enhancements and minor bug fixes.
Features:
- Front panel power switch provides completely clean bypass - switching out the tube emulation stage (as in the original hardware, the 'EQ In' switch leaves the amplifier in circuit).
Bug Fixes:
- Mac OS X - Trackpad 'scrollwheel' now operates correctly.
- Windows 7 - UAC permissions issue with activation keys fixed (previously a problem if the VST folder was in the system files tree).
