OverToneDSPhas announced that OverTone PTC-2A, a Windows VST plug-in and Mac OS X Audio Unit emulation of the classic Pultec EQP-1A, is available for half price during October, 2012.
Normal price is £30.00.
In PTC-2A separate low frequency boost and attenuate controls allow simultaneous boost and cut, replicating the signature Pultec sounds, while a smooth mid-range boost and top-end attenuate permit large amounts of gain without becoming harsh. A transformer-coupled tube amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities.
