PlugInGuru.com has released a new "Power Pack" of 82 custom patches for Native Instruments Massive virtual Instrument.
The Power Pack for Massive comes with loads of Booming synth basses, crystal clear bells, tons of BPM pulsing synth patches, Lead synth, lush synth pads and aggressive synth patches are all included.
PlugInGuru looked very closely at all of the patches that already exist for Massive to find patches that Massive was missing, and then make them. How about a single noise sweep patch (the 8 real-time controller knobs will allow you to transform the noise sweep into anything from noise zaps to slow noise swells and drops). How about monster deep sub basses (there are more than 6 different types of sub basses in the library).
Every one of the 82 patches has all 8 performance knobs programmed and set up for "maximum torture" to the sound waveforms. From brutal waveshaping, FM, feedback and serious effect tweakage to the standard filter and envelope settings, every patch has many personalities hiding in the knobs. Since Massive is basically a monster wavetable synth, many of the patches have a "WAVE" knob setup which will transform the patch into many different types of synth sounds.
This is the 3rd "power pack" of patches that is available from PlugInGuru, following the FM8 and Stylus RMX packs. There are demo MP3 songs you can listen to for each power pack. Anybody can download a free Demo Bank from each of these libraries for evaluation before buying the full version.

New PlugInGuru Quik-E Videos
As well as the new patches, PlugInGuru has started a new series of tutorial videos called "Quik-E Videos" which cover a single subject (for example, introduction of a new Virtual Instrument or Music Production technique) in a single video.
Currently there are three Quik-E Videos that you can watch or download:
- An introduction to Native Instruments MASSIVE and a sonic "tour" of the PlugInGuru Power Pack Patches.
- Introduction to Native Instruments Kore Player.
- Introduction to Native Instrument "The Finger".
These video are all available to watch or download for free (in multiple resolutions including phone, standard def and also 1280 x 720 - 720p high resolution). There are also over 2 hours of free video tutorials for Stylus RMX and FM8 that are also free to watch or download at our site.
