The piano was sampled in mono with the position of the close positioned mic changed for each octave. The piano was then "re-built" in the digital domain by giving each string its own position in the stereo field. The result is a dry piano that gives you the flexibility to place it in any sonic environment.
The complete CD-ROM and/or SampleSet contain 713 individual 24 bit Mono WAV samples. 4 programs each for HALion 1.*, HALion 2, and 2 programs for NI Kontakt 1.5. The download version costs US$67; the CD-ROM version costs US$77.60.
