SampleLab was formed to produce the most sonically accurate recordings possible by using only audiophile quality equipment and a fully 24 bit recording, editing and mastering process from start to finish. Many of the source recordings were made at the internationally renowned Rockfield studios, famous for it's superb sounding rooms, natural reverb chambers and vintage EMT plate collection. Classic mics, Neve preamps and Apogee convertors were used throughout by SampleLab's engineers to capture the performances of top session players. Then edited and processed with the finest TDM plug-ins to create hundreds or even thousands of samples for each CD, broken out by BPM and/or Key for ease of use. Great care has been taken to ensure that loops are sample-accurate and every conceivable effort has been made to maintain the highest possible signal quality throughout.
Analog Archive features many rare vintage analog synthesizers. Highlights include a double Moog 3C modular, ARP 2500 modular, E-MU modular, Roland System 700 and many others. Includes 28 page synthesizer guide.
Discography contains wah wah guitars & percussive loops, funked up breaks & vinyl FX, this is the one-stop toolkit for the discerning dancefloor enthusiast, performed by some of the funkiest players in the land. Over 600 sample-accurate files from retro to future.
Drum Fundamentals is an acoustic & electronic drum collection. An audio encyclopedia of over 2250 hits both acoustic & electronic from raw untreated sounds thru to processing max-out and everything in between.
Luscious Grooves - Retro to electro, downbeat to breakbeat, dreamy beats and percussive treats make up this vital set of production essentials.
Spatial Awareness - Ethereal pads, lo-fi loops, beefy breaks, transcendental textures & more make up this audio arsenal of eclectic essentials. Fresh, different, and eminently useable, featuring over 680MB of abstract breaks.
