SKnote has released the Mac OS X VST version of Presence, a multimode dynamic exciter useful to add body, presence and air to tracks and mixes. Presence is available as single plug-in for $19.95 and in a bundle with Roundtone Multitrack Machine for $29.99.
SKnote has also released GTS-39, its new tube limiting compressor, as a VST plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X hosts.
GTS-39 has been modeled after a vintage tube limiter from year 1949. Several custom features have been added to the original:
- "Hold" control (delays the release for more control on envelope).
- Internal sidechain dual-mode equalizer (enhances bass frequencies compression).
- Stereo and dual-mono operation mode (while the hardware is mono).
- 8x oversampling.
GTS-39 has a MSRP of $29.99 but is currently offered for an introductory price of $19.99.
