I cannot seem to get this plugin running, despite installing the runtime package (for mac) twice, both for VST and au, and placing the files in the correct subfolders.

I had the same problem. New iMac with Lion, no problems with any other audio software.

I remember Piano One existed for Windows only, much before this advertisement. Perhaps the mac versions aren't built correctly, or are fakes. How strange...

Same here until i installed the "MSPRuntime" package, works on my MAC now.

There's a link for MSPRuntime on their download page just above the Piano1 downloads for MAC icons.

I installed the runtime environment, but the instrument is still not detected by any of my sequencers.

Per the instructions MAC Users should not install the runtime included in the Piano1 download, but to download and install the separate MSPRuntime installer: http://www.supremepiano.com/download/MSPRuntime.pkg

While piano1 does load and play in my daw, unfortunately it's causing digital performer 6 to crash. ymmv

I tried that, and the plugin still doesn't seem to work. It's not a huge loss, but I still would like to try Piano One.

Not sure what's going on.

I've tried it in Digital Performer 6 and the latest release of Reaper and it loads and plays though it crashes DP6 and in the latest release of Reaper (Demo) it simply locks up/freezes when i close the Piano1 window.

I am running Mac OS 10.6.8, not sure if that makes any difference?

Can't find a link for support on their website.

It sounds like the plugin doesn't function in either case.
