Soundiron has released Olympus Micro Choir ReFill Edition for Propellerhead's Reason and an SFZ2.0-compatible version designed for the free Sforzando player.
Olympus Micro ReFill Edition offers a simple, efficient choral pad instrument optimized for Reason, focusing on just the pure basics. This compact virtual instrument packs a big sound and flexible control and performance features, while offering a full professional choral sound, powered by content the Olympus Symphonic Choral Collection. It's on sale now for an intro price of $19.99 until August 1st, 2013. (MSRP $29).
For users that don't have the full version of Kontakt or Reason, Olympus Micro is also now available in the universal SFZ format, fully compatible with the powerful and completely free Sforzando player by Plogue. While the interface and controls are simplified and streamlined, it has nearly all of the core primary control and sound-shaping features that are included in the Kontakt presets. The presets include real-time articulation switching via keyswitch and menu options, controls for swell, attack, offset, pan, release time and release volume for each section. The instruments provide parameter automation support, vibrato control and more.
The standard open-format version of Olympus Micro now includes the SFZ presets and is also available for $19.99.
