SoundToys has announced that it is planning full VST support for both Mac OS X and Windows for the SoundToys Native Effects bundle and the native-capable plug-ins of the SoundToys TDM Effects bundle. Full VST support for Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista platforms is expected to ship in late spring of 2008.

SoundToys has also announced the release of version 3.02 updates for their current software line. This is a free update and features compatibility with Logic 8, Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), and Pro Tools 7.4 on Mac and Windows.

In addition to the compatibility testing, v3.02 also includes significant improvements in DSP efficiency for native applications, so users will get more instances of SoundToys plug-ins on host based platforms such as Logic and Pro Tools LE.

Fixes and improvements include:

  • Logic 8 approved.
  • Leopard approved.
  • Pro Tools 7.4 approved.
  • Improved Audio Units tempo tracking.
  • Improved DSP performance on Native applications.
  • Fixed a problem switching from TDM to RTAS.
  • Fixed window scrolling error.
