Speedsoft VSampler v3.5 released

Speedsoft has finally released the v3.5 update for VSampler, now available for download as free update for registered users.

The new DRC engine allows you to play ultra-large instruments without being limited by RAM-size. There are five additional import formats supported: Kontakt, Battery, ReCycle, Acidized WAV files and E-MU III / IV CDs. The updated .GIG import loads Gigastudio version 3 files (except compressed 24 bit samples). Three new high quality playback modes from "Good" to "Ultra" retain the harmonic content of your samples "better than other 'big' samplers" (see their Resampling quality compared document for more information on this claim). The new RAMbo switch reduces the system load of ultra-large instruments by removing idle samples from RAM. Users of the Standalone version without an ASIO-compatible soundcard (e.g. laptops) will enjoy the new "Speedsoft Audio" Direct Kernel Streaming output device for ASIO-like low latency performance of DirectSound soundcards.

The comfort of the Compact View has been improved by e.g. full "MIDI Learn" remote control. The Editor View received many detail improvements as well, such as an "auto-play" option for Sample- and Zone-selection, a visual group editor and an "Auto create Cycle Groups" action. Group effects and individual mixer outputs at Sample level provide for dedicated drum sampler power with up to 32 mixer outputs total. The improved Beat Slicer exports the timing of sliced drumloops as MIDI file or by drag'n'drop straight into your sequencer track. VSampler 3.5 supports customizable microtuning scales (e.g. arabic tuning) and loads Scala files.

The new 30-day-trial mode allows to test all functions of the full version for 30 days.

Please check the detailed version history for instructions how to use the new features and the complete list of changes.
