Standard Beat Company has announced the release of Boiler Room Beats in Battery, Kontakt, WAV and REX formats.
Loosely influenced by both the architectural qualities of the Standard Beat Co. recording studio and the roomy stylings of mid-nineties Beastie Boys records, Boiler Room Beats gives programmers a set of unique tools to create everything from massive hall beats to intimate down-tuned classics. Standard Beat Company took a makeshift kit, threw some bad mics on the floor, put some classic mics in the hall, and put a really good AEA ribbon overhead. They also sampled various percussion pieces including bongos, cowbell, bodhran, and doumbek.
Boiler Room Beats includes a multi layer, velocity sensitive drum kit for Native Instruments Kontakt 4 and Battery 3, 299 individual hits in 24 bit .wav format, and 42 processed loops in both .rex and 24 bit .wav formats.
Boiler Room Beats was composed using all original samples recorded with Lavry Blue conversion.
