SubBass & AKAI launch MPC Training Centre
In partnership with veteran music makers AKAI, SubBass Academy of Electronic Music have launched the first MPC Training Centre and Weekend MPC Course.
This intensive 2 day AKAI MPC Level 1 Course focuses on creating and performing electronic music by honing the skills and work flow of the MPC touch, the latest member of the AKAI MPC family.
The AKAI MPC series has been used by artists creating Hiphop and Trap tunes. At the MPC Training Centre SubBass will be focussing on the using this hardware to create electronic dance music genres like House, Deep House, DnB, Techno, Tech House, EDM and more.
During this weekend course you will learn the techniques, tips and tricks that paved the way for many scenes of electronic music, whether it is time shifting a snare for neck snapping or using the effortless and seamless sampling feature, the MPC touch has all of the techniques from the early MPCs and a whole host of new features for top quality beat and music production.
SubBass Academy of Electronic Music are also hosting a FREE MPC Masterclass on 10th September so come along to our studios, meet the tutors, staff and crew at AKAI to get an insight into how to make chart topping music on the MPC Touch.
AKAI expert Andy Mac and SubBass tutor Si Tew will be showing students how to create and perform electronic music by honing the skills and work flow of the new MPC touch, the latest member of the AKAI MPC family.
