Tronsonic has released Microtapes 4-9 for Kontakt (4.2.4+).
- Micro 4 - Mountain Water (recorded in the Austrian Alps).
- Micro 5 - Dirty Cymbals.
- Micro 6 - Warp Sirens (from a vintage modular).
- Micro 7 - Random 100m (from a vintage modular).
- Micro 8 - Rhodetron.
- Micro 9 - Echorhode (Genuine valve tape delay - companion to Rhodetron).
Each microtape contains a single set of tape saturated samples, with an interface that enables full control over how 'damaged' you'd like the tape to sound, as well as how expressive the instrument is - having controls over velocity, velocity to filter cutoff (tone) and ADSR envelopes. Tape speed is also adjustable, allowing for slow and drifty or fast and warbly tape effects, as well as a reverse option for backwards sounds.
Each pack contains five token presets - some with different effects added.
They cost £2.99 each apart from Micro 8 - Rhodetron, which is £4.99.
The full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 4.2.4 is required for these libraries.
