TSD - Austin releases "CleanTele" and "WackAss" Beat-Sliced Guitar instruments for Kontakt
The Sound Department – Austin has released CleanTele and WackAss, two Beat-Sliced Guitar instruments for Native Instruments' Kontakt 5, at a special introductory price of $12 each (normal price will be $18 each).
CleanTele is a Tom Anderson Hollow Classic T thru a '67 Fender Champ and WackAss is a dual humbucker Brian Moore i13 direct through an effects chain, which included an Electro Harmonix Ring Thing and a WMD Geiger Counter.
TSD say "If you're looking for an instrument that will let your guitar-slinger solos sound as close to a "real" guitar as possible (or as close as MIDI will allow), look elsewhere. What these instruments will do is provide a fresh and organic rhythmic timbre that is at once unique and familiar."
