Ueberschall has released Blues Colors, the newest Elastik Player library, which brings handmade music and pure blues-feeling into a DAW.
Blues Colors includes 18 comprehensive construction kits for complete song productions. Each kit contains seven parts with intro, different verse-sections, refrain, variation, breaks and outro. All parts can be combined across the different kits for new song layouts.
The diverse facets of the blues genre is carefully reflected in the different construction kits, ranging from typical Delta-Blues, ballad-like and jazzy moods right up to modern rock-related crossover styles. The user will find crunchy guitar licks, swinging shuffles as well as pentatonic and slide leads.
With 5 GB of sample content, Blues Colors offers no less than 1,437 loops that cover a tempo range between 50 and 142 BPM. Some kits have been composed in traditional four-four-meter; others offer six-eight-time, typical in Blues.
Each construction kit contains all single instruments and drum tracks. The drum kit is available as a performance-ready mix down as well as separated into individual, carefully mic'ed tracks for bass drum, snare, hi-hat, ride, toms, overheads and percussion.
The instruments used represent the classic blues band with acoustic and electric guitars, resonator guitar and electric bass, recorded through well-tried and proven amplifiers with matched microphones. The result is an earthy and imperfect, but authentic blues-sound.
Blues Colors does not only serve as a source for authentic blues songs that you may use for your next score. It also offers a broad spectrum of song starter ideas for composers. In addition, Blues Colors is ideally suited to create crossover tracks for pop/rock and modern retro-rock.
Elastik
Blues Colors is clearly structured. All loops contain key notes and tempo within their names, which makes navigation and combination across the library easy. zplane's "élastique pro" algorithm allows for immediate tempo changes and transpositions at highest quality and lowest CPU-load.
