VAZ Modular v3.0 released

Software Technology have given VAZ Modular a major makeover featuring many new features and 17 new modules! VAZ Modular 3 is available immediately in stand alone, VSTi and DXi formats for Windows and can be downloaded for £199.95 UK / $369 USD / €290 EUR (Prices approx.). It is also available boxed and on CD for a slightly higher price. A demo version is available.

New Features:

  • Next generation synthesis engine: both better quality and faster.
  • Unlimited number of Modules, up to the capacity of the host computer to run them.
  • New and improved user interface design.
  • 17 new modules types making a total of over 80 fully-featured modules.
  • Import of VAZ 2010 and VAZ Plus 2 patches.
  • Choose between 6 colours for each Synth and Module.
  • File dialogs can now be resized.
  • Preview function in the Open Patch dialog to easily find the Patch you want.
  • Capture function is now available in the plugin versions.
  • Improved Patch List Editor dialog.
  • Improved MIDI Controller Mappings dialogs.
  • Auto-thru and transpose functions for easier live playing and audition.
  • Global tempo can be locked to a plugin host.
  • Sequencers and modules can lock to global tempo.
  • Sequencers have a swing function and selectable timebase.
  • Sequencers can be triggered from MIDI i.e. phrase playback.
  • The CV/Gate Sequencer can have up to 16 voice polyphonic patterns.
  • VSTi plugins can be hosted, receive MIDI on a selectable channel and can lock to the global tempo.
  • New internal effects: Plugin Chainer, Sub Output, Autopan, Decimator and Oscilloscope.
  • Multiple outputs accessed by the Sub Output plugin.
  • VST plugin version for audio processing.
