Vincent Burel has updated ASIO Bridge, the high quality Virtual Audio Device Driver making the link between Windows Native Audio interfaces and ASIO Device, to v220.127.116.11.
Delivered with HiFi Cable (the high fidelity virtual cable to connect audio applications together), ASIO–Bridge brings two new features:
- The ability to run in System Tray and be launched on Windows startup (by a simple On/Off option in its menu).
- The multichannel assignment allowing to take advantage of 8 ASIO I/O.
With ASIO-Bridge version 18.104.22.168, users can spread stereo sound in their 5.1 speaker setup or repeat an audio stereo stream in ASIO output channel 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, 8. It is also possible to use channel assignment to reroute 5.1 or 7.1 audio to specific Home Cinema speaker setups.
HiFi cable supports all sample rates from 8 kHz to 384 kHz, 16 or 24-bits resolution (bit perfect) and up to 8 channels.
