VRSonic has announced the release of VibeStudio Designer version 2.8 for the Macintosh and Windows platforms. VibeStudio Designer is the professional 3D audio design suite that provides the ability to both create dynamic audio content live applications and compose spatial audio scenes for post applications.
In addition to supporting the Mac OS X platform, VibeStudio Designer 2.8 includes a host of new features including: a streamlined interface, vastly improved headphone based spatial audio processing and audio device management as well as many optimizations to SoundScape3D, VRSonic's spatial audio engine. VibeStudio Designer 2.8 is a free upgrade to existing customers.
Using VibeStudio Designer you can compose highly dynamic and interactive immersive audio environments. Now audio designers can: position audio emitters anywhere in the environment, apply a variety of motion algorithms to those emitters, dynamically control the behavior of those emitters using a variety of sound animation technologies, add geometric structures to the scene with material properties such as concrete, brick, glass, or lead. VibeStudio Designer supports both ReWire mixer and device capabilities so it integrates perfectly with any audio production pipeline. It also supports the Open Sound Control standard for integration with external audio software and hardware.
A full license to VibeStudio Designer 2 costs $595. You may also purchase a 1, 3, 6, or 12 month license.
