Wave Alchemy launches new website and releases Drum Machines 01 and African Rhythms [WAV]

Wave Alchemy has announced that it has launched its new website along with some brand new products including: Drum Machines 01 (Bundle Pack), featuring over 1400 analogue drum machine samples, and African Rhythms (Micro Pack), featuring 130+ 24-bit authentic African percussion loops and ensembles. If you sign up at the new site you can access over 250MB of free samples taken from its product range.

Drum Machines 01 is a sample library offering 1400 drum samples from the Vermona DRM MK11, Jomox AIRBase99, Jomox MBase 11 and Jomox XBase999 drum machines. All samples have been recorded through an API 512c pre-amp with a small selection of the sounds being sonically enhanced through the use of an Empirical Labs Distressor and high-end SSL equalizers.

The WAV format sample pack costs £22 and includes:

  • 1400 24-bit 100% royalty free analogue drum hits.
  • 466 XBase999 drum samples.
  • 453 Vermona DRM MK11 drum samples.
  • 237 AIRBase99 drum samples.
  • 245 MBase11 kick drums.

African Rhythms marks the 3rd release in Wave Alchemy's Micro Pack series. Produced with authenticity in mind, African Rhythms captures the sound of Senegal, Africa with over 130 percussion loops and ensembles carefully recorded in 24-bit using a variety of rare microphones and sought after outboard equipment.

African Rhythms features an array of West African hand drums. The drums themselves have been passed down through many generations giving you a rare insight into authentic African culture and musicianship.

All loops have been recorded in tempo groups ranging 125, 127 and 130 beats per minute making them ideal for any genre of music or film score that requires an up-beat or authentic feel.

The WAV format sample pack costs £8.99 and includes:

  • Featured drums include - Djembe, Bougarabou, Sabar, Kutiro and Kpanlogo.
  • 132 24-bit 100% royalty free West African percussion loops.
  • 24 Sabar loops.
  • 59 full stereo percussion ensembles.
  • 29 authentic African drum fills.
