Whitebox has released version 1.8 of LOW, the latest in their line of Cross-Platform ambient synth/soundscape devices for Ableton Live and Max.
LOW is described as "a piece of reverse-engineering". In the same mode as Ableton's ambient and evolving instruments, Whitebox have constructed LOW to complement these.
The sounds available on the front of the box enable a palette ranging from dark to bright, from clean to dirty, from high to LOW.
Under the hood you can reprogram infinitely as you are presented with the background controls that go into the simple interface. No need to go into patching mode either. Save over 50 user-presets with a mouse-click.
