Pretty limited for sound designing... Sample's quality is pretty good althought.

Sounds names could be more related to the sound itself (actually they're almost all like "Bell 001", "Bell 002" and so on)

Copy protection is no problem and no dongle required

The sounds are fresh, the various LFOs and env are useful, so are the effects. Except the reverb which sucks on most vsts

Huge selection of fresh sounds.

The Arp presets are worse then nexus, you have to make your own. Gate is fun

The filters are simple but you get mostly great sounds out of the box.

Navigating with the computer keyboard is fast and easy, like in nexus

The only thing i wish more in this VST is a zoom option for bigger screens.
They should vectorize the Ui and put some other color options then the blue. color picker. Menues which you do not need often should be closable, or with a minimize button. Bigger letters would be more important to dial in sounds quickly

This is great when you want to lay out a song FAST, tweak and add instruments, effects and eqs as needed...

Great

Copy Protection is Challenge and Response

Do not tell a lie to user.

The following is the FAQ page of their site.

10. How do I activate Lethal?

Once you open Lethal in your host DAW software (e.g. Ableton Live) for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your serial number. Copy and paste your serial number (as shown in your account on our site) or type it in manually, then press OK.

Upon opening particular host DAW's, you may be prompted to enter your serial number during the host DAW's start up scan of new plugins.

11. How many computers can I install Lethal on?

A single Lethal license is licensed for one person. Since many people use multiple sources (eg. a laptop & desktop) you are permitted two activations (PC/MAC or both).

If you would like to run Lethal on more than two computers you must purchase additional licenses.

Note: Lethal requires an internet connection for activation (offline activation not available)

replicantx,
They probably meant no dongles or any other copy protect devices or software. I'm sure they weren't trying to decieve customers. I just picked this up and look forward to checking it out.

"I'm sure they weren't trying to decieve customers."
Why you so sure while they only wrote once in KVR forum and they don't have company information?
Are you an insider?
It's creepy.

Note: Lethal requires an internet connection for activation
Then they should register the plugin information collectry
.

I'm far from an insider. I have no idea who these guys are or where they are, but what I heard and read seems cool. They must have been working on this for years in secret before releasing it. Everything seems legit to me so far. I just installed and will fire it up in the next day or so. I don't think the company seems "creepy" at all, but I hope there are many creepy patches in this thing. I love ambient textures.

Hi Replicant X, .

We can see where the confusion arises. Lethal requires you to enter your serial number upon online activation so it is a combination of 'serial' and 'online activation'. We have changed Lethal's 'Copy Protection' description to Online Activation (Challenge / Response). Apologies for the confusion.

If you have any further questions we are always here to help.
