Without doubt the best free e-bass plugin you can find.
Before I bought Modo, I always used ABPL II if a realistic sounding bass was required.
Astounding! Ample Sound made a great set of plugins, with tons of features and articulations. They all sound fantastic! The free versions are amazing.

The Ample Sound website is BOGUS! You have to be "an existing customer" to download the free stuff. And, there is no way to register, that I could find.I also couldn't find a link to their home page from anywhere on their site. Have fun with this one, gents...
I was able to download it. It seemed like it took an awfully long time for it to start though. Go (http://www.amplesound.net/en/download.asp) scroll down to just below the "Existing Customers" nonsense (seems like you don't have to deal with it in this case) and where it says "ABP Lite II (Free) v2.31 | Mac | Win" just mouse-over the OS of your choice and sit back and wait for a long while it to reply. Hope this helps.
Nothing bogus about it. Just go to Downloads section, below are links to all freebie instruments including this one. Can't be simpler, really.
Just bought ABJ some Days ago and that one is great. I will also try the free ABPL and the AGML. Even though I am an existing customer I did not have to login to get those 2 free plugins.
I love the low end of this bass, great job! Does anyone know if articulations are disabled for the LITE version? I'm running it in Cubase for Mac, but there is no way I can have any single articulation working.
Using it on my MAC Pro 10.12 32-bit with Digital Performer 7.24 and Working perfectly....
Can't do the same thing on the same Mac Pro 10.12 64-bit with Digital Performer 8.0.7 .... can't understand why .
