GVI (Giga Virtual Instrument)

Giga Virtual Instrument (GVI) is the first plug-in sampler instrument powered by the Giga sampling engine.

GVI is a 16-part multi-timbral sampler with unlimited polyphony performance and the ability to run multiple instances - limited only by the power of your computer. GVI takes advantage of the latest Giga technology, like 96kHz/24-bit sample support, iMIDI rules for realistic phrasing and embedded GigaPulse technology for instrument resonance and ambience.

GVI offers comprehensive editing features with a a sampler engine designed to provide rich, dense sounds that can be tweaked and manipulated to a high degree and in great detail.

  • The General Tab edit offers features such as Volume Modulation, Velocity Response, and Tuning all automatable by your host DAW application.
  • GVI's Envelopes are used to control how a sound changes over time, changing volume, pitch, modulation, LFO, etc. and features the ability to create complex multi-segment envelopes.
  • GVI's filter section offers automatable Low-Pass, High-Pass and Band-Pass filters.

The included GVI Sound Set features instruments provided by the following companies:

  • SoniVox
  • Best Service
  • Bigga Giggas
  • Larry Seyer
