YangQin (Chinese Dulcimer) is a relatively new member of the Chinese instrument family - it was not until the late Ming Dynasty (mid-17th century) that YangQin started to show up in China. The dulcimer originated from the Persian civilization, but since YangQin's sound character fitted so well to Chinese tastes it soon spread widely, especially in southern China.
ChineeYangQin is Kong Audio's recreation of the YangQin for modern Chinese composers' unfulfilled needs.
Features / specs:
- 270 MB sample set.
- All samples are recorded in 1-bit/2.8 MHz.
- ChineeYangQin (in C) contains various types of legato, rolls and back-striking playing techniques. The note range is from A2--A6.
