Ambius 1: Transmissions

Ambius 1 Transmissions is a massive collection of ambiences, drones, pads and evolving "synth" leads each created by hand. Every sound you hear was hand-crafted using only organic field and instrument recordings. No synthesizers were used in the creation of this library at all. Soundiron used a variety of custom techniques to blend, warp, shape and layer the sounds, taking them from the realm of the known into that of the very unknown. The instruments found in this collection range from simple, clean, tonal leads to compound, constantly moving sound-scapes and textures

In this first volume of the Ambius series, the focus is on the dark, the cryptic, the unnatural and the subliminal, in the form of unearthly angelic bell tones and demonically corrupt signals filtering through the void. Instruments are broken into 3 main categories (Tuned, Melodic and Horror). There's a faded archive of EVP recordings engineered by the dead, ear-witness accounts of unholy medical procedures, insidious swarms of enraged stinging insects, terror winds speaking with voices of pure and ancient decay and bio-mechanical devices worming through primordial pools of seething logic. We also included 7 beautiful tuned solo/lead instruments and a large collection of complex evolving melodic pads, ranging from darkly dissonant to fiercely harmonious.

The cutting-edge GUI combines complete performance and tone shaping and ADSR controls with an adaptive step sequencing engine that allow custom 32-step BPM synched grooves for a multi-mode resonant filter or you can use the sequencer to lock any control parameter to host tempo. It also features custom convolution loading, the Uberpeggiator arp system, polyphonic legato and full EQ controls.
