Step PhilterX

Step PhilterX is a dual filterbank unit that provides amazing flexibility and creativity in a small blueprint. We added a classic analog delay to take things over the top.

Filter units (like phasers and flangers) are extremely difficult to get the signals they are processing to sit properly in a mix. They tend to force the processed signal further back in the mix. If a producer compensates by turning up the volume of the processed signal, the resulting sound quality often sounds washed up and unclear. Step PhilterX deals with this problem by providing multiple filter types split across two channels to give producers more options to help the filtered processed signal sit properly in the mix.

In addition, the two independent pattern sequencers provide subtle to extreme rhythmic filtering effects.
