AmpLion Free is a light version of Audified's AmpLion 2 RE plug-in and application. Both versions were created using our advanced and precise circuit modeling technology. Though AmpLion Free does not offer the number of simulated amps and effects as its "big brother", you can still experience the superior quality and true sound of the real analog amplifier.
AmpLion Free is a great tool for re-amping, recording, practicing, composing, and playing live shows. Its advanced Track Player lets you play along with your favorite artists and learn their songs. Or practice with an intelligent metronome. Speed control allows you to slow down, if you can't make it, or even speed up when you get better.
The standalone application is available on the Mac App Store.

I didn't even need this, I have the full outlay of Amplitube. But it looked cool and was free. It's right up there. Wide variety of clean, dirt, and tones, just from one amp and one available modeled speaker, up to 2 cabs loaded 1x12 with V30s. Very impressive. Aesthetically great; you know how sometimes when a gear bit is toy-like and fun to interact with, it adds to the enjoyment. Their full paid outlay must be incredible.
