Hello, .

There are likely other downloads of this amazing software elsewhere, too, but I wanted to provide a link here (is that ok?) for the last version of Aodix (4.2) that Arguru made before he tragically passed away.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2atvpwgiydt6kej/aodixsetupv4201.exe?dl=0.

I hope other musicians find and discover the unique, brilliant, and powerful app Arguru made.

Thanks.

I did not know that this man does not exist among us, it is a pity that so many talented people are lost. With great respect for the work of Arguru, I sincerely thank you for the link and I hope that a capable programmer will be found to continue the wonderful work of this wonderful person.

I also discovered this link to download https://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Other-AUDIO-Tools/Aodix.shtml I cannot guarantee its safety but I present it as an alternative. Also a link to the biography of this talented man.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Antonio_Arguelles_Rius .

I actually use this...You can do a whole song in one single pattern if you want to without having to do pattern calls. Easy to get organic sounding patterns by simply...SIMPLY...Entering in via QWERTY then using mouse to arrange notes that have shown up in the INGENIOUS VERTICAL PIANO ROLL. This is done as freely as you wish pushing notes underneath others with wild resolution...There is NO other tracker offering this AT ALL! Sound is good function OK...This is a VST ONLY tracker as Arguru knew there would be a billion out there so no need to make an internal sampler either...

A few gotchas though...You should test ANY VSTs you plan to use by loading them up and then saving song best a VST or two at a time. Reopen the song file if there are no errors you should be fine keep a running list of VSTs that 'pass'...

Another is the rendering...It renders RAW audio only but I haven't been able to get anything but noise. The only thing that worked for me was inserting a recording VST before the output...I used the Anarchy Recorder but Voxengo makes a free too...

Since the machine view has no mixer a good collection of stubby mixers is advised like the Spirit Canyon Stuff...

I wasusing right before machine complete crash so only have a intro done in Aodix here-

If anyone's finding this now, I've found a way to fix the bug that causes certain VSTs to not load -- now every VST loads correctly. I'm working on some unofficial patches to fix various bugs in Aodix, more information here: https://github.com/vanjac/aodix-repair

Also, a tip for rendering: try importing the RAW file as 32-bit float, instead of 16-bit.
