AREX 2011 is a free VSTi drum module based on a hardware drum machine from the early 1980s.

LXNDR1 i agree, the sound is too peculiar, but that's the sound of real RX11, in fact quite a few tracks were recorded with the prototype during the 80's and it sounds surprisingly passable, it's how you mix it, i think the sounds require more processing and polishing than your usual drum machine.
