I don't like it, it looks good but sounds like crap.

i agree, the sound is too peculiar, but that's the sound of real RX11, in fact quite a few tracks were recorded with the prototype during the 80's and it sounds surprisingly passable, it's how you mix it, i think the sounds require more processing and polishing than your usual drum machine.

Cool, but it is for REX files too?

for anyone who's interested in how usable its sound is in a composition, listen to the "Sweetest Taboo" by Sade, they of course used the real thing.
