ZhongHu is another member of the Chinese Hu fiddle family. "Zhong" means "middle", a reference to the note range of ZhongHu, compared to other Hu fiddles. ZhongHu is new type of HuQin desgined as the counterpart of the Viola in the Chinese Orchestra in the 20th century.
