Cooper Time Cube MkII

The original Cooper Time Cube was a Duane H. Cooper and Bill Putnam collaborative design that brought a garden hose-based mechanical delay to the world in 1971 and has achieved cult status. The Cooper Time Cube is famous for its short delay and doubling effects and its ability to always sit perfectly in the mix. Over the years this quirky device has grown a strong following and finds a home in prestigious studios around the world.

The Cooper Time Cube MkII has all the sound of the original delay system design but offers all the necessary features expected from a modern delay device: Delay, Decay, Pan and Volume controls plus Tempo Sync and Automation for each of the two independent delay lines. The Cooper time Cube MkII also incorporates a Color switch that presents the user with the original (A) or "leveled" (B) frequency response, plus tone controls and a 2-Pole High Pass Filter. Lastly, a switch is presented for soloing the Wet signal and the Send switch allows momentary interruption of the signal being sent into the delay system.

Features:

  • Designed by Duane Cooper and Bill Putnam—highly unique delay.
  • All the vibe of the original, with modern feature enhancements.
  • Two independent delay lines with Delay, Decay, Pan and Volume.
  • "Coils" recreates the original sound of the CTC regardless of Delay setting.
  • Tempo Sync, Treble and Bass tone controls, HPF and Wet Solo.

A Note about UAD Powered Plug-ins
UAD-2 and UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins run exclusively on Universal Audio's UAD DSP Accelerator Cards. All available Powered Plug-Ins are included in the UAD Software Installer/Updater Package; and every Plug-In title has a separately activated 14-day trial -- so users can try before they buy, at their own pace. Once a user decides to purchase a Plug-In, they can click on the Plug-In toolbar "Buy" button, which automatically takes them to the www.uaudio.com website and carts the plug in; or this can be done manually via browsing our webstore. Once the purchase is complete, a downloadable Authorization File is made available. Users simply drag and drop this Auth. File into the UAD meter, and the Plug-In is authorized. UAD-1 users can transfer Plug-In licenses to UAD-2 format for free (one time only). Via Customer Support, Universal Audio also allows registered UAD owners to sell their UAD card(s) with Plug-In licenses, transferring the licenses to the new card owner (subject to Universal Audio approval).
