:P did you try to mail him? I still haven't heard from him. Chickensys is a bit similar, they charged me $10 for shipping costs in may 2011 and would send a Translator 6 disc in june 2011. No, I couldn't buy a download only version, it had to be cd+download. Translator 6 came out in december or something but still no disc, lol.

I wouldn't compare him to Chickensys - they just never deliver. Grabowski is a very nice guy. He is probably working in another project. I don't think he makes his living from his products. ESC is still by far the best conversion software on the market. I am also desperatly waiting for version 4 with the mapper since Redmatica Keymap Pro is OS X only and does not any convertig at all.

I emailed Mr. Grabowski last week, if there's news on ESC 4 because I'd need the independant left-right looping if it works for me. No response and the website hasn't been updated for 14 months it seems. Does anyone know what's going on?

And another question: is there another program with independant left-right looping without splitting the files in left-right?

Don't know anything except I would very much want to know too. I bought ESC in February 2011 on the premise I would get a free upgrade to version 4, but nothing has been sighted of the forthcoming version, not even a rumour. I think I read somewhere he had/wanted to do a complete rewrite. I really hope it's not vapourware since I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for the free upgrade. My bad maybe, yes I know, but generally I trust developers. Except for Kjaerhus. :-)
