I don't know what happenned to all the reviews but I'm up for a fresh one of my favourite and most used VSTi. This synth has great oscillators and very strong unison which make it capable of the most amazingly huge sounds you will ever hear. The GUI is gorgeous, if a little larger than it needs to be, and really well laid out. This is possibly the slickest freebie around and whilst it is hardly bristling with features it does what it does very, very well. The filter is not exceptional but holds its own against most. The presets show its versatility quite well and its so easy to use that if you can't make a great bank of really useful presets for this in just a few minutes, you're just not trying. I've been using it for 5 years or so and I've never had any problems with it at all. Although on my older PC's it was something of a CPU hog, with the speed of newer computers it hardly troubles the CPU meter these days. When it was $50, I didn't hesitate to buy it, now that its free there is no excuse at all not to have it in your VST folder.

Super late reply, but it's still available via the Wayback Machine. It used to be a commercial product back in 2000, but it was released as freeware in 2011. Hopefully that will help others interested in this synth.
